Critters in the country

This weeks challenge was to capture an animal or animals in the country. Sharon may deserve some pity votes as she whined A LOT about going out in the cold to take a picture.

As always we won't say who took the pictures until the voting is over. (I know that sometimes it's VERY obvious who took them).  We come up with the names for our own photos too.

If you want to see the pictures larger just click on the individual picture. Not sure if this will work on mobile phones. I know that a lot of people say they can't comment from their phones.

Barn doggie

  1. Difficult one this week, they are all good and all capture the theme. But personally for me "Moo" represents "the country" more for me. All 3 great tho!!!

  4. I like the cow the best :) it's sharp and has vivid colors. Plus that's a weird position and facial expression for a cow which I think it different and original. Made me laugh. I like it :)

  5. DOG LOOKS FAMILIAR. LOVED THE BARN TOO BUT THERE WAS JUST SOMETHING WRONG. FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT....BOTH THE DOG AND THE BARN ARE EQUALLY IN FOCUS. I LOVED THE COMPOSITON OF THE HORSES. I THINK THE COW LOOKS RETARDED!

  6. The color is picture one is blah. The dog is cute. I would have liked to see a horse jump in the second one. I like the cow because it was being weird.

  7. Picture one was too blurry in the background and the same with pic 2. Picture three was awesome because everything was crystal clear. All of yours looked good, but I chose picture 3.

  8. What I like about pic 1 is that its nice to look at but the background could have used some detail. I like pic 2 with all the horses but it was kind of blurry and needed more going on in the background. I chose pic 3 because the background was interesting because the grass looked amazing and the cow looked cool in the position it was in but it could have used a mountain or something other than a tree in the background.

  9. I think picture 1 looks fake. Picture 2 looks cruel [The horses look all sickly and miserable in the snow and muck]. Picture 3 is the best but the longhorn looks like the photographer threw something at it and it made a stupid face.

  10. All the pictures are good, but Moo is my favourite. The horses are a close second though! - Erin

  11. They are all three good, but Moo is my favorite because of capturing the movement of the longhorn and capturing an attitude in the face.

  12. The bottom of the barn creates a horizontal line in the picture almost "cutting the picture in two". I love Moo. The colors, the personality of the cow, the way his head is turned and the positioning of the cow on the left.
